How it was built.
- 01
Hand wire-wrapped throughout in solid sterling silver — no plated components.
- 02
The oxidised finish is applied by hand, then relieved on the high points so the piece brightens with use.
- 03
Onyx is polished to a mirror and inspected for chips under raking light.
- 04
Heavier gauge wire than our other rosaries, for a piece meant to be gripped.
Symbolism
Why these stones, in this piece.
Onyx is traditionally carried as a stone of resolve; smoky quartz as one of shelter. Together they were chosen for the rosary we make for adversity, recovery and rebuilding.
Made for: Grief, recovery, service, and anyone rebuilding something.
ETERNA describes these as traditional, symbolic associations. We make no claim of supernatural or medical effect.
