Construction

How it was built.

  1. 01

Each lapis bead is capped top and bottom, aligning the pyrite veining outward.

  2. 02

Gold-filled wire is used rather than plate at every stress point.

  3. 03

Beads are sequenced so no two heavily veined stones sit adjacent.

  4. 04

Finished piece is hand-polished with a dry cloth only — lapis is never chemically cleaned.

Symbolism

Why these stones, in this piece.

Lapis was ground into the ultramarine of devotional painting for a thousand years. Moonstone marks the Our Father beads with hope carried through uncertainty.

Made for: Those drawn to the devotional history of the material itself.

ETERNA describes these as traditional, symbolic associations. We make no claim of supernatural or medical effect.
